Dennis Dudek

Senior Vice President

Mr. Dennis Dudek is Vice President of Military Programs for LVI. In that position, he serves in a key executive capacity in Lion’s existing Army 3PL contract with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). Dennis is responsible for business opportunities within the DOD, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and DSCP. He is currently focusing on areas where LVI can manage the Army supply chain of Class II. Dennis reports to Mr. Terry Smith, Senior VP, LVI and Logistics.

Dennis brings over three decades of civilian DSCP executive management experience to Lion. Most recently he was the Director of Customer Operations at DSCP, a $15 billion operation, where he was responsible for assuring Department of Defense customer support in the Medical, Clothing, Food, and Construction DSCP worldwide supply chains. In this capacity, in 2009 he received DLA’s Superior Civilian Service award for support of Iraq and Afghanistan operations.

For the more than twenty years prior to that he worked in the Clothing & Textiles (C&T) Supply Chain within the DSCP. In his last position at C&T, Mr. Dudek served as Deputy Director and as well as the lead acquisition executive for the entire C&T Supply Chain, responsible for over $2 billion in purchases each year. Mr. Dudek was a DAWIA Level III acquisition executive within the DOD. He was a pioneer in the use of EDI within the DLA, as well as participating on the management team which established the new DLA ERP system from 2000-2003.

Vice President, Military Logistics

Dennis received dozens of awards over the course of his career, including the 2005 Supply Chain Operational Excellence Award for all of the DOD for his efforts with the Army Direct Ordering (ADO) Program in Iraq. ADO acted like an LL Bean operation, allowing deployed soldiers to directly order Class II resupplies over the web. In 2006, he won the AbilityOne Annual Dick Alley Award for Lifetime Achievement in providing employment for blind and handicapped workers on government contracts. He received his most prestigious award in December 2009 when he was awarded one of the seven DoD Distinguished Civilian Service Awards for the entire Office of the Secretary of Defense.

A native of Philadelphia, PA, Dennis holds a B.S. in Business Management from St. Joseph University, and an M.B.A. in Logistics and Operations Management from George Washington University.

In his spare time, Dennis is an outdoor sportsman. He regularly participates in running events ranging from 5k up to half-marathons. He has participated in Masters Level Rowing events (including the World Rowing Masters Championships in 2006 at Princeton University). He also enjoys long distance bicycling for charities as well as downhill skiing.
